THE BUSINESS IDEA
Give spoken job-site notes a useful structure.
During a property walkthrough, a contractor can describe issues as they go. WalkPunch turns that narration into a draft list organized for review, so the next step can happen in one project workflow.
What we built
We built the path from a narrated video upload to transcription, draft items, editing and report delivery. Each item can carry the location, trade, priority and status needed to organize the work.
- Users upload a narrated walkthrough for transcription and issue extraction.
- Draft items can be reviewed and edited, including location, trade, priority and status.
- Paid workflows provide trade-grouped PDFs and vendor delivery with completion links.
The customer journey
The contractor uploads a walkthrough and reviews the extracted items. They correct and organize the draft before producing a trade-grouped PDF. The current paid workflow also supports vendor delivery and completion links.
A first version for your business
A focused $999 scope could include project creation, a narrated walkthrough upload, an editable punch-list draft and a basic PDF export. The contractor approves the content before it is treated as a finished report.
Support after launch
Optional support could cover private media storage, processing failures, report questions and agreed help with delivery administration. Video processing, hosting and any vendor communication service would be separately budgeted.
WalkPunch works from the narration and requires human review. It does not autonomously inspect a building or certify that every defect has been found.
