SOFO came to our team with an existing video-postcard concept. He wanted a modern experience for creating personal messages, presenting his brand and connecting recipients with a custom destination page.
What we built
We built the postcard application and deployed it, with its source, on his own AWS server. The project brought account registration, a postcard editor, media choices, branding, linked landing pages and owner administration into one website.
- Record video or voice in the browser, upload media, or link a YouTube or Vimeo video.
- Personalize the postcard message, logo, stamp and postmark for sharing by link.
- Create linked landing pages that give the recipient a next step.
The customer journey
A creator starts a postcard, adds a video or voice message and personalizes its presentation. The finished link can be shared with recipients, who can view the postcard and continue to the creator's linked page.
A first version for your business
This earlier client project shows how an existing idea can become an application the client owns and operates. For a similar $999 first build today, we would agree the postcard editor, supported media, branding and destination-page workflow in writing before payment.
Support after launch
The relationship continued after the initial build: SOFO chose a separate Website Care agreement for website maintenance and agreed changes. That is the pattern available through PickYourVenture—a defined build followed by the level of ongoing help your business needs.
